I needed to create a “new” look to an existing web site, In a way, this is sometimes more difficult that having a clean slate.

After I had spent a few days researching online.. I found the creative team at Macro Design Group. Previous work and referrals gave them a good track record..

My call in was answered by Danny Amar, account manager of development. After I had explained what I needed, he suggested a few ideas and told me that I would be sent 3 sample layouts to choose from. So far, so good. I picked one and within a few weeks, the layout took shape.

Phoenix PharmaLabs Inc. is a privately-held, Utah-based, biotechnology discovery company focusing on the development and commercialization of new non-addictive treatments for pain and new therapies for the treatment of opiate addiction. Recently, we decided to upgrade our brand identification in general and our website in particular as we prepare to develop strategic alliances with larger pharmaceutical companies in order to bring our family of drugs to market.

In March 2010 I was in search of a new web-designer for the Dance Masters of America, Inc’s. National Website.  I mistakenly agreed to a proposal from a firm from Provo, Utah who promised to meet our deadline date of September 1st.  Their proposal was within the project budget and they seemed to be a reliable firm. They also seemed to be in tune with what I had envisioned and the assigned Account Executive was very attentive. We discussed the plans for the website thoroughly.  I filled out a countless number of papers and questionnaires and, I might add, agree to all of the enhancements that were suggested, raising the cost of the original proposal by more than 100%.  In mid May I received an email informing me that the website was finished and was given a link to a temporary site so that I can review the website for approval.  You can imagine my surprise when I opened the site and saw a compete replica of my “old site”.  After months of promises my Account Executive stopped returning my call. I later found out that he left the company. In mid July when I returned from our National Convention, I contacted Mr. Daniel Linares, from Macro Design Group, we met, we talked, we exchanged ideas, we exchanged emails, he kept me informed of the design progress throughout, but most importantly, I had the site – as I envisioned it – up and running on September 1st.  I have received nothing but compliments from the membership and visitors to our site. I recommend Mr. Linares and the Macro Design Group without reservation.

Using Macro Design Group to design my logo was one of the best decisions I have made. Everyone was extremely easy to work with and helpful. During the process I had difficulty deciding on the direction I wanted to go but the team gave me their opinions and suggestions.
